Hej! I’m Ida Fällström, the Plant & Light Expert at Heliospectra. After wrapping up my studies in Biology and Ecology, I moved onto working with a few different research projects before joining Heliospectra (11 years ago)! Since then I’ve spent my time focusing on trying to understand exactly what types of light your plants need to truly thrive.

What’s my passion?

• Understanding the ways in which different plants react to different lighting stimuli.

• Researching ways to improve crop quality, health, yields, and growth time.

  • Ensure that the lighting strategies we employ are in line with your goals.
  • Offer support in setting up specialised crop lighting trials for you.
  • Ensure that you understand the differences between our spectra so you can be confident which product will suit you best.
  • Assist in planning, designing, and running pilot projects for you.
  • Are you currently using HPS and want to see what LEDs could do for you? Or perhaps you're already on LEDs and want to improve your production? Then a pilot project could be for you!
  • Hold educational sessions on a variety of topics.
  • Helping educate you and your team on topics like working with LED lighting.
  • Training and education in plant and light science for you and your team.
