After completing hispost-doc at the University of Minnesota on pasture-based livestock production,Singh worked at the Organic Agriculture Centre of Canada and served as theOrganic and Small-Scale Farming Specialist in Nova Scotia, for over 15 years,and recently held the Just Us! Chair in Small Farm Sustainability.

Av has had the privilegeof visiting over 2000 farms across five continents which has shaped hisextension of holistic, system-based design solutions. Emphasizing a union oftraditional knowledge with science, Av works with growers to cultivate anappreciation of plant - soil interrelationships.

Ryan Wankel - Cannabis Grower Liaison, Heliospectra

A second-generation cannabis grower recognized with multiple cannabis cup awards, Ryan has led commercial teams at large scale facilities in Denver, Colorado. Having taken multiple cultivation facilities from HPS to LED lighting solutions, he now assists customers in North America and Europe in developing strain-specific lighting strategies and understanding the benefits and environmental conditions of growing with LEDs.

William Fournier - Vertical Farming Research and Development Expert, Montel

Six months a year of the cold Canadian winters didn’t get in the way of William Fournier’s passion to cultivate. Instead, it made him adapt and expand his knowledge on how to grow all sorts of plants, not only outdoors, but indoors as well. With a background in plant production technologies and a consultant with a variety of licensed commercial producers, William has also recently joined the Montel team as their Vertical Farming Research and Development Expert.
