Ali combines his passion for people and technology with 20 years of international business leadership experience to his position at the helm of Heliospectra. Ali is globally recognized for his successful track record of developing new business and delivering profitable growth in a multitude of geographies. He has lived and worked in five different countries on three different continents over the course of his career. Highly skilled in integrating cultural and commercial experiences, he excels in establishing partnerships with different stakeholders and driving diverse teams to peak performance. Prior to joining Heliospectra, Ali was Vice President of Tetra Pak in Asia Pacific and served as a member of Tetra Pak’s global executive team.
Hans has 30 years of experience working as Auditor, CFO and Finance Director with global, market-leading companies, including CMA-CGM, Zimmer Biomet, Global Blue, and PWC. Prior to Heliospectra, Hans served as Finance Director at Volvo Buses. Hans Naess joined Heliospectra in 2018 and holds 30 000 shares and 100 000 warrants.
Scott Thornton has more than 20+ years of B2B commercial leadership experience both in North America and internationally. Prior to joining Heliospectra, Scott worked for PBC, a private label food broker in Canada, where he served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He was responsible for the company’s overall sales and broker network throughout North America. Prior to that Scott worked over 17 years with Tetra Pak, starting his career as a Business Development Manager and rising to Managing Director TP Canada and was part of the company’s Management team (2014-2018) before leaving the company in 2018. Scott graduated from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec and has numerous Leadership Certificates from IMD in Switzerland and Ashridge in the United Kingdom.
Yasuhiro Suzuki is responsible for Heliospectra’s Asian strategy. He covers both Sales and Marketing in Asia with his rich experience in Business Development and Sales from his previous carriers. Yasuhiro holds a bachelor degree in Sociology from Rikkyo University in Tokyo. Previous positions includes Marketing director at Nihon Tetra Pak K.K. Yasuhiro Suzuki joined Heliospectra in 2019 and holds no shares.
Hanna’s entrepreneurial approach, drive and business-oriented mindset has led her to an extensive 18 years of experience in B2B development within the international food industry. She has earned a stellar reputation in selling new technology for food production globally and driving customer projects from idea concept development to implementation and start up in factory. She is very performance driven with a successful strategy of leading others based on trust, courage and constant exploration. Before joining Heliospectra, she held executive leadership positions with Micvac AB. Hanna Rüdel joined Heliospectra in 2018 and holds 35 000 warrants.
With more than 20 years of progressively responsible experience in International trade, project management, technical production management and B2B Sales; Peter’s proven expertise includes strategic purchasing and strategic sourcing. His strategies consistently reduce cost and increase the quality of materials and services provided while creating productive and enduring partnerships. Through his experience and education in multiple degrees from Chalmers University of Technology including a M.Sc. in Automation Engineering, he has become a highly skilled and successful professional with comprehensive experience coordinating global supply chain operations, inventories, materials, and procurement while ensuring compliance to regulations and guidelines. Peter has worked with a wide variety of multi-national companies including Stena Recycling AB and Ericsson before Heliospectra.

Sarah Basiri is a senior marketing executive with 12+ years of global experience across a diverse set of industry sectors. She has a successful track record developing creative solutions and multichannel marketing programs that deliver bottom line results. Prior to Heliospectra, Sarah was a Marketing Director at The Mezzanine Group, a B2B marketing agency, where she supported multi-national companies with their tactical and strategic global marketing plans. Prior to her time at the agency, she held senior leadership roles for prominent business organizations across North America. Sarah earned her Bachelor’s Degree from York University and currently resides in New York City.
Karin Dankis works strategically on Heliospectra’s product portfolio and long-term product offerings. She holds an MSc in Automation and Mechatronics from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg with focus on product development. Previous positions include Product Manager & Interim Marketing Manager at Heliospectra AB.

Ulrika Sandford has extensive experience in marketing and comprehensive knowledge of external and internal communications. She has experience within many areas of marketing from the IT, Construction and Sports industries in both B2C and B2B capacities. Ulrika holds a Bachelor Degree with Honors in Service Management from Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Before joining Heliospectra she held positions as Marketing Manager at Serneke and Pulsen. Ulrika joined Heliospectra in 2019 and holds no shares.
Andreas Gunnarsson has extensive experience in starting up and operating growth companies in the technology sector. He is also chairman of the board in Air to Air Sweden AB, board member in WRAP International AB, Lamera AB, SolarWave AB, Crossborder Technologies AB, and alternate at Jensen Devices AB, PromorePharma AB, Minesto AB, Powercell Sweden AB, and Pergamum AB. Andreas has studied at Jönköping International Business School.
