Sales Director

Heliospectra is growing and we are now looking for a Sales Director to join our sales team and drive Heliospectra's sales forward, both in Europe as well as globally.

The company was announced second fastest growing tech company in Sweden by Deloitte in 2017. As the company is growing, we are now looking for a Sales Director to join our sales team and drive Heliospectra's sales forward, both in Europe as well as globally. You will be hired as a full time employee, based at the Heliospectra headquarter HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. To fill this position we are working together with Signium, a global executive search and leadership consulting firm.

Job Description

For the Sales Driector position, we are looking for a candidate that is a true leader, and able to develop the sales team and grow Heliospectra’s overall market share, while establishing a strong sales culture rooted in the company’s core values. You will be fully responsible for Heliospectra's sales organization in Europe and global expansion, and responsible for the company achieving sales targets as agreed. Tasks include developing a growth plan for sales, including both a short, medium and long-term strategic plan for corporate’s business development. You will be fully responsible for Heliospectra's international sales organization, and responsible to reach set sales targets and goals, and develop collaborative relationships and long-term partnerships within and outside of the organization in pursuit of those overall business goals.

Area of Responsibility

  • Prospecting for new clients, pre and post sales activities and partner sales
  • Ensure that a strong pipeline is built and managed throughout the business.
  • Create a strong and sustainable sales culture where we put business and the customers in front line
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets as directed by corporate initiatives
  • Execute on the company business plan
  • Develop a long- and short-term strategic sales plan
  • Direct responsibility for set key accounts and managing their growth in line with your revenue targets
  • Develop existing and set up new strategic partnerships
  • Participation in trade show events, workshops and seminars

Required qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful commercialisation strategy in early stage companies
  • Ability to think creatively and develop non-traditional solutions to complex business challenges
  • Strong sales management skills
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Ability to be both tactical and strategic
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business Development or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of direct sales experience in a global market
  • Experience of business development, value-based selling, negotiating, pricing and pricing models
  • Experience of both direct sales and channel sales
  • Preferably experience of product and organization in a similar stage of growth

Location: Gothenburg. The Sales Director role is of course a traveling job, where you need to be prepared to travel at least 30% of the time, often internationally.

Extension: Full-time position and you will report to the VP of Technical Services
